Quiz participation criteria

Eligibility

Open to registered conference delegates currently pursuing MD General Medicine, DM/DrNB Endocrinology, or other MD, DNB, DM, DrNB, MCh, or equivalent postgraduate or superspeciality training programmes with an interest in obesity medicine and metabolic health.

Team composition

Each team must have exactly two participants. Not more than one DM/DrNB, MCh, or equivalent superspeciality student may represent a team. Inter-institutional teams and multiple teams from one institution are allowed.

Registration requirement

Separate quiz registration is mandatory, carries no additional fee, and is available only to registered conference delegates.

Competition format

All registered teams participate in the screening round on 5 September. The top six teams proceed to the Grand Finale on 6 September.

Screening round

All registered teams will participate in an initial screening round. The format will be determined by the Quiz Committee.

The top six teams will advance to the Grand Finale.

Grand Finale

The top six teams will compete in the Final Round to determine the National Champions in Obesity Medicine & Metabolic Health.

6 September 2026

Cash prizes, certificates, and national recognition await the winning teams.
